What is an acupunctures session like?

Initially a full diagnostic analysis is done. This entails the owner describing the behaviour, attitude and anything related to the animal’s condition. This is done through a question and answer session that will determine the problem that needs treatment. A thorough physical examination is then conducted using TCVM principles. Upon completion of this, Dr. Susanna will describe her findings and recommend an acupuncture treatment regime. Each session will last approximately 30 minutes. The first 10 minutes will consist of reviewing the condition of the patient, and the remaining 20 minutes will be for the actual needling process.
